Dr. Faten Tamim has got her PhD in Human Nutrition & Dietetic, specialized in Maternal & Child Nutrition, University of Jordan, 2017. She got her MSc in Public Health, specialized in Maternal & Child Health in 2008. She has one published book titled by "Effect of Vitamin D Supplementation For Obese Pregnant Women: Maternal and Neonatal Outcomes". In addition, she has one accepted article for publication at "Journal of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism". She worked as a midwife for 20 years in Jordan Ministry of Health facilities; supporting mothers during pregnancy, birth and postpartum at different health care levels. She founded the first lactation support clinic in Jordan in 2014. As well, she is the founder and chairperson of The Breastfeeding Support Association since 2016. Last and not the least she founded Smart Mama Childbirth and Parenting Center in 2017 to be consistent with her main perspective in supporting mothers and fathers throughout their parenting journey.
Dr Omonua Odiase Special is a Physician and Endocrinologist and works at the University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja. He completed his Fellowship training in Internal Medicine with subspecialisation in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism from the National Postgraduate medical college of Nigeria.
He obtained his MBBS degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Nigeria in 2003 and a masters degree in public administration from University of Abuja in 2014. He is currently undergoing a postgraduate training in Public Health.
His research interest includes diabetes complications particularly diabetic foot ulcers. He is a strong advocate for diabetes prevention in the next generation. He was recently involved in a World Diabetes Foundation(WDF) prevention programme in secondary schools in the city of Abuja. He is a principal investigator in the International Diabetes Management Programme, IDMP wave 7. Dr Omonua has published several articles on diabetes complications’, endocrinology and medicine in peer reviewed journals. He has also presented abstracts and papers at conferences mostly in Africa.
He is a member of many professional bodies including Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Endocrine and metabolic Society of Nigeria(EMSON) and American college of clinical endocrinologists.

Dr. Nahla Al-Bayyari
Nahla Al-Bayyari is an Assistant Professor and Researcher in Human Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition and Dietetics. She completed her Ph.D in Human Nutrition and Dietetics in 2015 from the Faculty of Agriculture,/ University of Jordan. Her Ph.D study was a double blind placebo controlled clinical trial among overweight vitamin D deficient women with polycystic ovary syndrome. From 2006-2015, Nahla was a Fulltime lecturer in Public Health and Nutrition at Al-Huson University College, / Al-Balqa Applied University, Al-Salt, Jordan. From 2015 to date, she served as an assistant professor of Nutrition and Food Technology Department, / Faculty of Al-Huson, / Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan. Dr. Al-Bayyari has published numerous articles in scientific journals and served as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals. She has participated in many conferences, courses, workshops and research studies in the field of human nutrition, dietetics, clinical and public health nutrition.
Nahla earned her first degree in Public Health Nutrition from the Faculty of Medicine/ Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in 1990. She worked as a research assistant on nutrition research projects for 2 years at JUST, Irbid Jordan. In 1994, she earned her master degree in public health from the Faculty of Medicine/ Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) and she was the first in her country who developed National Intra-Uterine Growth Charts for Weight and Height from her Master’s thesis.

Born in Egypt in 1977. A Graduate of Mansoura faculty of medicine, Egypt, Nov 2000. Trained in internal medicine and endocrinology unit at the Mansoura university general hospital and specialized medical hospital during residency period from 2002 till Feb 20006. He had a Master degree in May 2005 from Mansoura faculty of medicine titled “Effect of lipoprotein (a) { Lp(a)} in micro vascular complications in T2DM patients”. He is assisted lecturer of Endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Mansoura faculty of medicine unit from 2007 till 2011. He had a M.D degree in May 2011 from Mansoura faculty of medicine titled "Evaluation of pituitary function in Post-traumatic patients". He is a Lecturer of Endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Mansoura faculty of medicine unit from 2011 till 20117.
He published researches in thyroid disorders, vitamin D, diabetes and others endocrinology disorders. Recently in October 2016, he is promoted by the supreme council of universities, Egypt to assistant professor of endocrinology and diabetes.

Dr. Elvira Levy enjoys caring for children and is undertaking her Paediatric training at the Free University of Brussel (VUB). During her three years of residency she has contributed to the care of Paediatric patients by developing protocols for the management of functional constipation, febrile convulsion and hypocalcemia in neonatal period. Building up on her interest in child health, she has published a review article on chronic constipation in children (2017) and is in the process of finishing another review on probiotics. With her enthusiasm to take up the challenges of child health and scientific research, she investigated the case of hypocalcemia and vitamin D, which caught her curiosity during her neonatology rotation.
Elvira grew up in the Netherlands where she finished high school and did a year of biomedical science to pursue her interest in science at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). She then joined the Academic Medical Center (AMC), Amsterdam where she obtained her medical degree and completed her internship. While in medical school she was interested in research and spent a year as a research intern with STOPMiP research team in Indonesia and co-authored a publication on rapid diagnostic tests for malaria in pregnancy (2015).
When Elvira has time off from treating her little patients, she takes her work toll, spinning in the gym and tuning herself to the rhythm of music and dance. She likes to experience different cultures and cuisines and has travelled to parts of Europe, Asia and the Mediterranean. She is multi-lingual and can express herself in Dutch, Portuguese, French and English. Dr. Kate Omonua is an Obstetrician/Gynaecologist, a lecturer at the University of Abuja and an honorary consultant at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Abuja, Nigeria. She obtained her M. B. B. S degree from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2005 and went on to complete her residency training in 2016. Dr. Makki Hummadi Fayadh is the founder of the Iraqi Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in and President for the Society since 1998.
