History
Etihad Towers was developed under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan’s Projects Department with architects DBI Australia starting work on this unique project in January 2006.
Structure & Design
The iconic beachfront project features five towers, including a 280m tall luxury hotel (Jumeirah at Etihad Towers), a prestigious office tower with 46,000sqm of leasable office space, and three towers housing 885 apartments and an observation deck. The connecting four-level Podium features contemporary restaurants and over 35 premium boutiques in the Avenue at Etihad Towers.
Jumeirah at Etihad Towers is made up of 382 guest rooms and suites, 199 serviced residences and 12 restaurants, bars and lounges. The hotel also offers a private beach, Talise Spa, three pools, gym and an extensive conference centre with 13 meeting rooms and the grand Mezzoon Ballroom.
The dramatic sculptural forms of the towers complement the sophisticated and contemporary interior design. Art works from His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan’s private art collection provide a local Arabian touch in public areas and conference pre-function areas.
Guest Rooms & Suites
Jumeirah at Etihad Towers offers guests 382 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites which are located between Levels 27 to 60, each with luxurious contemporary décor and furnishings. All rooms offer stunning sea views and range from 40sqm to 60sqm in floor area with the latest fully integrated lifestyle technology.
Conference & Banqueting Facilities
Extensive conference & banqueting facilities are provided through the hotel’s purpose built Conference Centre, located on Podium Level 4. The Conference Centre is among the largest in Abu Dhabi and features 13 meeting rooms and the stunning Mezzoon ballroom.
Mezzoon can comfortably accommodate up to 1,400 guests for a conference or 1,000 guests for dinner, and can be divided into four separate sections. The centre also offers spacious pre-function areas as well as a Bridal Suite and Chairman’s Suite. One of the unique elements of the ballroom is a special service elevator with the capacity to lift cars.
