| ELIGIBILITY |
| · Residents & Trainees in psychiatry are invited to submit published international research (done by the applicant themselves (master or doctorate degree thesis or original research), published in an international psychiatric journal in 2022 within the field of biological or social psychiatry). |
| PRIZE |
| · There is one prize, a travel fellowship award for the successful candidate to attend the WPA Thematic Congress in 5th-7th of May 2023 in Abu Dhabi (air travel, registration and accommodation). |
| JUDGING PANEL |
| · Judging panel will be composed of (at least) 4 Directors of the different WPA Collaborating Centres across the world. |
| DEADLINE AND SCHEDULE |
| · All submissions must be emailed to Professor Tarek Okasha, Director of the WPA Collaborating Centre for Training and Research, Okasha Institute of Psychiatry, Ain Shams University Cairo Egypt at tarek.okasha@med.asu.edu.eg including "WPA Thematic Congress Award, Abu Dhabi 2023" in the subject heading. |
| · There should also be a one page covering letter with brief information about the candidate. |
| · Submissions have to be sent before 15th of March 2023 at 8pm (Cairo time). |
