Dear Colleagues,It is an honour and privilege to invite you to the “WPA Thematic Congress” being held on 5-7 May 2023 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE - a vibrant and fast-growing city that combines state of the art facilities and infrastructures, as well as a glimpse into an ancient and endlessly fascinating past.
WPA Scientific Section on Rehabilitation Psychiatry is pleased to organize this meeting with the theme “Innovations in the treatment & psychosocial rehabilitation”. We are very much grateful to the regional psychiatric societies and other partners for their invaluable support in organizing this important congress.
We are excited for this state-of-the-art event designed to provide an in-depth overview of psychiatric rehabilitation and mental health issues that focuses on integrated, team-based and patient-centered care.
The event will highlight key aspects for broader opportunities in education and research. The two-day program will feature faculty from all over the world. A variety of presentation formats will be used including an extensive range of topics, plenary sessions, keynotes, case discussions and demonstrations, workshops and posters to examine solutions and share ideas for improving the quality of life for our mentally ill patients.
The WPA Thematic Congress will also serve as a springboard for collaboration and is integral to the WPA culture that aspires to integrate, connect, learn and deliver to achieve service excellence and deliver trusted quality.
